The hero: levels, specializations, skills, gear
The hero earns experience from everything you build and research and from every battle he is part of. Each level gives two attribute points (power, vitality, agility, intellect, luck) that work either for the army he leads or for his capital while he is home. He fights in the front rank with his own strength and can be wounded.
From level 10 he takes a specialization — a passive that grows with his level and an active ability on a cooldown, used on the march or at home. From level 5 he earns skill points for three branches: War (leading armies), Lore (his own growth) and Stronghold (defending the capital). Items of five rarities, up to the era's few wyrmforged pieces, come from battles, camps, the forge and the item market.
